Last week I went to Leith Porsche of Cary, to check out the vehicles on the lot. And they had some truly great vehicles in stock.

I really dig the chunky five-spoke wheels on the Macan.

This would a lot better than the hair dryer I got for Christmas...

My favorite car in stock had to be this manual 911 C4S with the sport seats, Sport Chrono, and sports exhaust. Oh yeah, and it had a duck tail.

See, I know we don’t need AWD in North Carolina, but it does have a handling advantage. And this all black example is so hot.

We’ve got some air-cooled love right here. Too bad it was an auto, though.

If I were to buy a 911 right now, it would have to be the GTS. It’s got the luxury from the Carrera line, yet it has parts and the power the track monster GT3 has.

It was definitely a great day at the Porsche dealer. And through this exercise, I learned my Moto X 2nd Gen takes some quality photos.

What day were you there? I also visited Leith Porsche of Cary this week (last Sunday), and from your pictures it looks like we might have been there at about the same time of day. Did you see a white Lexus RX at all, or a guy with a Maserati GranTurismo?

Yeah, I was there last Sunday night. The guy with the Maserati lives right about a quarter mile from me. I was in the green Chevrolet TrailBlazer, after we dropped our A3 off at the Audi dealer. Were you wearing a black jacket?

That was you too? I was at the Audi dealer because I had seen they had an A3 e-tron in stock, parked right by the service drop-off bay, as a matter of fact. Then I stopped by the Porsche dealer and a few others after that (Sunday is the best time because they’re all closed, so you can wander around without being bothered by salespeople). I think I had a black jacket on, with jeans and brown shoes.

Yeah, I was wearing a black jacket, jeans, and was limping around because of my messed up knee.

Our white 2006 A3 3.2 was parked right behind the A3 E-Tron in the service bay.

I managed to get a decent photo of the A3 e-tron. Idk why, but it really fascinates me, that thing.

I also think I found a photo that I took at the Porsche dealer with you in the background...

And then I also had one of the Maserati guy’s car with a Boxster GTS.

I’d rather not say, if that’s fine with you. I will say that I’m only in 8th grade, however. (I’m 14, which, I know, is a bit young compared to most everyone else on Oppo.)

Then we were actually at the same school at one point. I did go to Lufkin for a year, but I’m not there anymore. My family moved like a year ago now or so (idk even know how long ago it was, but not very).

Neat! I’ve lived a mile from West Lake/Middle Creek schools for nine years, but WCPSS forced me to go to Lufkin for some reason.

Nonetheless, it’s pretty cool to find another Youth Oppo on here.

Haha yeah. As far as I know, I’ll be going to Apex Friendship next year; it’s like five minutes down the road from where I live now. But, hey, WCPSS could change that in the next few months for all I know. It’s already changed twice in the last year and a half. I was originally assigned to Panther Creek, then when we moved I was assigned to Apex, but now that Friendship is open I’m tentatively going there.

I work some people that go to Friendship (both being sophomores), and they like like it thus far, other than the name obviously. I went to check out Friendship when it first opened, and it is a really nice campus. Totally puts MC to shame.

Yeah, I’ve been there too, and it’s definitely nice. That’ll be the good thing about going to a school that’s almost brand new. Other than the name of course. The whole thing about the name will get old after a while, though, hopefully.

I’d head down to Hendrick Chevy and check out an SS - I’ve tested with them a couple of times and been lucky enough to get about 20 minutes behind the wheel of a 14 slush box and ‘15 SS manual. The ‘15 manual is one fantastic car, and that’s coming from a died-in-the-wool German-0phile.....

On the other hand, maybe if win the Powerball I’ll head back up the street to Leith Porsche and order a Cayman S until my Singer Porsche comes in.
